The times they are a-changin'
My lovely Eva Signý planted a seed in my head. I need to pimp my blog. The first step in that direction is swithcing to a more known language to mankind than Icelandic, namely English. I've realised that my circle of friends and those who might possibly want to read about my thoughts, adventures and trivial matters are unfortunately not only those among the 300.000 that speak the secret language, Icelandic. I at least know that this will make one man happy. A man who has tried various dodgy online translation programs to try to decipher the meanings of my blog with very strange results. Yes, Gaz. It's in English. Finally!
I also thought this change might create more of an incentive for me to actually blog since I haven't really been bothered to do it properly for a long time.
An extra effort to pimp my blog is to revive the once very popular music trivia. This will give Hannes Óli, Þórir, Hlynur and Gugga something to look forward to. The rules of the game are that I post a fraction of a lyric from a song and you should guess the name of the song and the artist/band that performs it. Yay!
Now it's back to my lazy Saturday. I'm still in my jammies and suspect I will be for the rest of the day. A tad bit hung-over. Frozen strawberry margaritas, my gay boyfriend Peter and six weeks to catch up on. A good recipe for a fun night on the town.
Well, here's the music trivia:
This is one of my all-time favorite songs by a musical genius.
What's the name of the song and who performs?
Every time I comb my hair
Thoughts of you get in my eyes
You're a sinner, I don't care
I just want your creamy thighs
I leave you with a few photos from my lovely stay in Iceland.
